A Dark Alleyway

OK, so I am cheating a bit. The below was not written by me but my daughter. I helped her (just a teeny bit) with the concept and the points.

A dark alleyway,

A man and a silver knife

Goodbye, family

Canisters of oil

Barrels filled with alcohol

Now what shall I do?

Squeak. Meow. Ba-dump. Squeak.

Tunes of the dark alleyway

What is going on?

What am I doing?

Why did I agree to do this?

Shh. Be QUIET. Now!

My mind is a blank.

My whole body is trembling.

I hope no one calls.

I’m frozen in place.

Suddenly my stomach hurts.

I want my pants clean!

Stop! Stay where you are!

No response. I’ll move closer.

Heaven, here I come!

The man turns around.

Wait! This man is no killer!

His steaks are the best!

And there you have it. A long haiku about an encounter and mistaken identity in an alleyway. What did you think of it?
