Today marks the beginning of the editing of the first novel I am working on. I am rather proud of this landmark. But I am also greatly overwhelmed. The editing process is akin to, if not worse than writing the first draft.
Having said that, I knew this was going to happen. Thanks to the wisdom of many others who are following similar paths, I had a sense of the magnitude of the task. I am simultaneously filled with apprehension of the task ahead, yet I also feel a swell of pride for having made it this far.
Beyond the writing or editing, there is a lot more to do in terms of marketing. We soldier on!
